Konecranes appoints new CEO and president

Rob Smith, Konecranes new CEO and president

Konecranes’ board of directors has appointed a new president and CEO, Rob Smith, who will take over his new role as of February 1, 2020.

Smith has joined the company from AGCO Corporation, where his latest position has been senior vice president & general manager for Europe and Middle East.

Prior to this he has worked in business leadership roles in TRW Automotive, Tyco Electronics and Bombardier Transportation among others.
