Abu Dhabi Terminals achieves 10m container record at Khalifa Port

Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) has set a new record of 10m containers at Khalifa Port Container Terminal (KPCT1), following a 51% year-on-year increase in container volume during the third quarter of 2019.

The 10m container record was achieved while serving the MV MSC Alexandra which is operated by MSC and deployed on the 2M DRAGON/AE20 service.

ADT’s acting CEO, Abdullah Al Hameli, said: “In line with the vision of the leadership in supporting the economic diversification of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the new record represents a major achievement for Khalifa Port to promote economic development and diversify the economic resources of the Emirate.”
