Port of Duisburg expands activities with China

Duisburger Hafen AG (duisport) has concluded a framework agreement with China Railway Container Transport Corp., Ltd (CRCT) for the continued expansion of the China Railway Express traffic.

Based in Beijing, CRCT is a subsidiary of the China State Railway Group Co. and has a service portfolio which covers the transport of goods, international freight services and the international trade of goods.

Currently, up to 40 trains already travel between Duisburg and China every week and the two companies aim to promote more rail freight through their cooperation.
