Hapag-Lloyd has opened a new Quality Service Centre (QSC) in Mauritius to explicitly serve one of the company’s fastest growing markets, Africa.
The company’s QSCs, through gathering selected functions from different areas under one roof, aim to enable synergies and deliver on quality promises towards Hapag-Lloyd’s customers.
Dheeraj Bhatia, Hapag-Lloyd’s senior managing director for the Middle East, said: “Mauritius was chosen because the island provides a modern infrastructure, a skilled workforce as well as a unique mix of spoken languages, especially English and French.
