RSGT receives first batch of new terminal equipment

Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) has received the first consignment of new advanced terminal equipment, including terminal trucks and trailers as it aims to accelerate port and quay operations at the northern part of Jeddah Islamic Port (JIP).

The terminal, owned by Saudi Industrial Services group SISCO, is embarking on an initial investment of SAR1bn (US$270m).

The new terminal trucks and trailers, the newest of their kind in Saudi Arabia, come equipped with the latest and most demanding safety features according to the operator.
