Konecranes wins its largest reachstacker order ever

Konecranes has won an order for 39 reach stackers, its largest-ever order for reachstackers yet, from a customer in Germany.

The contract is for the delivery of 39 Konecranes SMV 2216 TC3 reachstackers with modifications to allow for the stacking of 22-tonne, 16-tonne and six-tonne containers.

Ralf Gowin, sales manager Germany for Konecranes Lift Trucks, said: “This was a long-negotiated contract that involved many people across the organisation, and we are pleased with the result and grateful for the work done with our partner, Richter Fördertechnik GmbH & Co. KG.”
