Container volumes down 23% at HAROPA

HAROPA, the joint venture between the ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris, suffered a 23% decline in container volumes in March as maritime traffic from Asia slowed due to COVID-19.

The ports handled 530,000 teu last month, with 156 stopovers by container ships, a reduction of 16.

River traffic in containers on the Seine axis decreased by the equivalent of 13.5% at the end of March.
