MSC was hit by a network outage, possibly due to malware, over Easter weekend, affecting its headquarters in Geneva with its website still down as of April 14.
Over the weekend, MSC said that it could not “rule out entirely the possibility of malware” as the cause of the outage.
The carrier said in a statement: “In this case, the issue is limited to one of our data centres in Geneva affecting solely some internal data processes, MSC.com and MyMSC.
