PSA Marine releases new digital solution for sustainable shipping

PSA Marine has launched a digital solution, Vessel Pilot Communication (VPC), in support of the global movement towards sustainable shipping by reducing carbon footprint.

VPC ensures that critical and timely updates on pilot boarding times and traffic conditions in and around the pilot boarding grounds are communicated to vessel masters.

This allows the vessel masters to adjust their vessels’ speed and time their arrival to Singapore, resulting in fuel optimisation and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
