The UK Department for International Trade (DIT) has appointed several major terminal operators and shipping lines, including DP World, Hutchison Ports and Maersk, as members of its transport services Trade Advisory Group (TAG).
As trade talks with Japan, the US, Australia and New Zealand intensify, the UK International Trade Secretary Liz Truss has stepped up engagement by launching 11 new TAGs.
Their principle purpose is to provide the blend of strategic and technical expertise required to ensure the UK’s trade negotiations are able to progress at pace.
