Comagnie Fruitière banana ripening facility completed at DP World London Gateway Logistics Park
Leading supplier and ripener of bananas Comagnie Fruitière UK has taken occupation of a 69,718 sq ft ripening facility at DP World London Gateway.
The new ripening centre, set to be fully operational by 2021, will replace the company’s existing operation in Dartford and will help reinforce Comagnie Fruitière’s approach to a vertically integrated supply chain.
Through DP World’s high quality construction, smart logistics solutions and industry-leading technology the new ripening facility aims to deliver the most efficient banana supply chain, optimising the ripening process and using technology to help future-proof the businesses.
