Red Hook Terminals modernises operations with Octopi’s cloud-based TOS

Red Hook Terminals has subscribed for Octopi’s cloud-based terminal operating system (TOS) at its Newark, NJ and Brooklyn, NY locations.

The terminal operator, which will implement Octopi, part of Navis, at two of its terminals by 2021, is able to handle any size or type of cargo to serve beneficial cargo owners and shippers east and west of the Hudson River, as well as regions north and south.

To remain in the evolving industry, the company was looking to upgrade its TOS to a flexible system that would be able to be deployed with maximum value and little IT investment, increasing visibility, productivity and optimising terminal operations while maximising return on investment (ROI).
