Cargotec initiates sale process for Navis

Cargotec’s board of directors has, as part of its continuing evaluation of the strategic options for the software business, initiated a sales process for Navis.

As part of the evaluation of options in October, a preliminary call for tenders was conducted which, due to the amount and level of the received preliminary and indicative offers, suggested that proceeding with a sale was the best possible option for Cargotec and Navis.

The preliminary indicative offers are not binding and the possible sale of the Navis software business and the terms of the transaction will only be confirmed once the actual sales process has been completed.
