The Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority (SSSA) has invited parties to express their interest in the lease of the Westpomeranian Logistics Centre (WLC) in Szczecin port, Poland.
The 9.4 ha plot, which has the potential to be used for services, logistics, distribution and production, can be leased as a whole or separately starting from two ha.
Located in the central point of Szczecin, the WLC benefits from the nearby Duty Free Zone, railway tracks and direct entry to and exit from the port area to the exit road from Szczecin.
The direct vicinity of companies providing cargo handling services and all kinds of port-related activities will make it possible to reduce the costs of many operations.
The area of the WLC has been divided into two parts, divided by a road, with a surface of 5.99 ha and 3.39 ha.
It is fully ready to be leased and the bearing capacity of access roads has been increased to 115kN/axis.
Szczecin port has a draught of 9.15 m and offers a cost-effective solution to reach the inland by sea, which is situated close to the recipients and senders of the goods handled.
It is complemented by the nearby Port of Świnoujście, which is directly linked to the sea compared to the 68 km inland Port of Szczecin, that can handle larger vessels with a draught of 13.5 m.
Both ports are the closest seaports for the western and south-western areas of Poland which include the most important industrial areas of the country.
The deadline for those interested in the investment area at the Port of Szczecin is March 31, 2021.
