Kalmar to deliver equipment to Thailand’s Vientiane Logistics Park
Thailand-based transportation operator Sitthi Logistics Co., has ordered three different equipment types from Kalmar’s Essential Range and two SmartPower machines for its greenfield inland terminal development in Laos.
The order, booked in Q1 2021, comprised of two Kalmar SmartPower rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGs), three reachstackers, two empty container handlers (ECHs) and six terminal tractors.
Kalmar’s SmartPower RTGs can reduce annual fuel consumption by up to 50% compared to traditional diesel machines.
