The Port of Antwerp and PSA Antwerp have planned to deepen the quay wall of the Europa Terminal to allow it to handle the largest container vessels.
To achieve this, the current quay wall will be demolished and replaced by a new one with works to be carried out in three phases.
This will allow a large part of the terminal to remain in operations at all times, while another part of the capacity is diverted to PSA’s Noordzee Terminal.
