Major shipping lines adopt DCSA’s Track and Trace standards

A majority of Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) members, including the world’s largest shipping carriers, have adopted DCSA Track & Trace (T&T) standards and have committed to providing customers access to the standards-based API.

Members who have adopted the DCSA T&T data model include major shipping lines MSC, ONE, CMA CGM, Yang Ming and Evergreen.

CMA CGM’s IT, digital, SSC and transformation executive vice president Nicolas Sekkaki said: “The standards work being done in conjunction with DCSA will enable a level of seamlessness that has been difficult to achieve to this point due to a lack of interoperability across the industry.
