DP World Santos pushes ahead with cargo diversification and end-to-end logistics

New CEO of DP World Santos Fabio Siccherino intends to maintain the terminal’s drive to diversify cargo while beginning a new strategy to provide fully integrated supply chain logistics throughout Brazil for beneficial cargo owners (BCOs).

Siccherino, who was appointed as of April 1 succeeding Dallas Hampton, is keen for the operator to handle multiple cargo types, making it less reliant on the container business.

He told CM: “We’re working on two different strategies for the next few years that will consolidate our company as a multipurpose terminal that offers logistics services. One aim is to diversify our cargo and the other, which we have just started, is to provide end-to-end logistics services.”
