CMA CGM offers biomethane solution to customers

CMA CGM customers can now opt to use biomethane, improving their environmental performance, as the carrier strengthens its ‘ACT with CMA CGM+’ range of value-added services.

Working with Containerships, the company’s intra-European line specialist, the group offers guarantee of origin biomethane to its customers.

The shipping line has claimed that its customers who use the new cleaner energy biomethane solution will be able to cut their CO2 emissions by at least 67% on a well-to-wake basis (full value chain) on the intra-European shipments of goods.
