Teletrac Navman to provide telematics solutions at Port of Southampton

ABP will roll out the technology across its 80-strong fleet

Associated British Ports (ABP) has awarded telematics specialist Teletrac Navman a contract to provide end-to-end mobile asset and fleet management solutions at the Port of Southampton, aiming to gain visibility and real-time insight into operations.

Following a trial of the fleet telamtatics, tracking platform and connected camera system, ABP Southampton will now roll out the technology across its 80-strong fleet, including over 30 electric vehicles.

Craig Barbour, general manager at ABP, said: “As a transport and logistics business with a significant spread across the UK, it is our responsibility to ensure that our practices and operations are as safe and sustainable as possible.
