First container vessel handled at HHLA Trieste

Piattaforma Logistica Trieste (PLT), a multi-purpose terminal operated by Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), has welcomed its first container vessel.

The OPS Hamburg is deployed on CMA CGM’s TMX3 service, which connects Turkey with the Adriatic Sea on a weekly basis, and was handled fast and efficiently at PLT.

Antonio Barbara, managing director of HHLA PLT, said: “We are delighted to welcome the OPS Hamburg at our terminal. Undoubtedly a good omen, the name of the vessel recalls the link between Trieste and our majority shareholder in Hamburg.”
