Kalmar is to supply its Eco reachstacker to Brazilian terminal Portonave, making it the first of its kind to be delivered to a customer in Latin America.
The unit uses a smaller engine than traditional reachstacker solutions, in an effort to reduce fuel consumption and emissions without compromising productivity.
It also hopes to offer an improved overall driving experience with smoother acceleration and less cabin noise.
