DCT Gdańsk handled 2.1m teu last year, representing an increase of 5%, as it overcame supply chain challenges to rebound from a dip in 2020.
The Polish terminal had handled 2m teu for the first time in 2019 but disruption to cargo flows during the first year of the pandemic saw it handle 1.91m teu the following year.
Charles Baker, CEO of DCT, said: “Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic causing turmoil in global logistics and the supply chain, we handled over 2,092,432 teu in 2021.
