New Konecranes Gottwald Generation 6 MHC for Mexican Port of Veracruz

Grupo Corporación Integral de Comcercio Exterior S.A. de C.V. (CICE) has ordered its first eco-efficient Generation 6 Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbour crane (MHC) for its terminal in the Port of Veracruz.

With a continuing expansion of terminal capacity at its largest facility, CICE is looking to upgrade its equipment with a high-capacity crane that can handle both containers and general and project cargo.

Leoncio Perez, CEO at Grup CICE, said: “We are expecting larger vessels to call at our terminal in the Port of Veracruz, so we need to invest in a larger crane.
