PSA Mumbai commissions solar farm to cover 13% of power requirements
PSA Mumbai has inaugurated a 1-megawatt (MW) solar farm, which is projected to generate 13% of the terminal’s annual power requirements.
The 1.3 ha facility, featuring rooftop solar panels, is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 1,200 tonnes per year.
PSA Mumbai is targeting a 50% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030 (against a 2019 baseline year).
