DP World is launching a new rail service between the Upper Rhine region and the Port of Rotterdam, as it looks to enhance its European inland network and offer more sustainable transport options to its customers.
The new service, which starts on March 14, connects Rotterdam with two roundtrips per week with calls in Germersheim and Stuttgart.
The company’s inland network now consists of 12 terminals: three in Germany, four in Switzerland, two in Belgium and three in the Alsace region of France, providing road, rail, and waterway transport to and from European deep-sea ports.
