Bromma has launched a new all-electric ship-to-shore (STS) spreader, aiming to help terminals achieve their environmental goals and boost productivity, efficiency and flexibility.
The STS45E G2 PLUS model, which is designed to be silent when operated, offers a 90% reduction in spreader power consumption while eliminating the risks of hydraulic oil leakage.
Speaking at the launch, Lars Meurling, Bromma’s vice president of EMEA and marketing, said: “The most important [benefit] is probably that through the all-electric, we will be able to support our customers for them to reach their environmental goals through reductions in emissions and energy savings.”
