A.P. Moller-Maersk’s ME4 Westbound service has begun to call at King Abdullah Port in order to bring its ocean service closer to the 100,000 sq m non-bonded warehouse situated at the port.
The Maersk Integrated Logistics Hub at King Abdullah Port provides a truly integrated logistics offering, primarily for Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical exporters.
Mohammed Shihab, managing director of Maersk Saudi Arabia, said: “When we set up the Integrated Logistics Hub, our ambition was to get closer to our customers by providing a warehousing facility near the manufacturing hubs.
