Port of Valencia launches its Innovation Hub, Opentop

Valenciaport has officially launched its Innovation Hub, Opentop, which aims to become a global benchmark in open innovation in the port logistics sector.

Led by Fundación Valenciaport, Opentop will give participating start-ups the opportunity to work directly from and with the companies in the port community of Valencia, fostering not only regional, but also national and international entrepreneurship.

Aurelio Martínez, president of Fundación Valenciaport, said: “With this new initiative we are making available to the port community a whole set of tools to support and facilitate the rapid and effective incorporation of new technologies, innovation methodologies and innovative culture in the sector.”
