CEO transition for Maersk’s GTD Solution
Ex-Google and Starbucks executive Kim Spalding is set to take over as CEO for GTD Solution, the Maersk business unit responsible for TradeLens, when current CEO Mike White retires at the end of April.
Starting in her new position on April 4, 2022, Spalding has been general manager and product leader for local business advertising & emerging markets at Google for the past six years where she led teams across multiple locations including California, Boston and India.
Vincent Clerc, CEO of Ocean & Logistics at A.P. Moller-Maersk, said: “After a successful ramp-up where several industry leaders have joined TradeLens, the focus now shifts towards enhancing the customer experience and monetising the platform.
