PSA acquires second container terminal at Port of Halifax

PSA International will now operate two container terminals at the Port of Halifax after acquiring Ceres Halifax from Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha.

The two facilities called Atlantic Hub and Fairview Cove are jointly branded under PSA Halifax.

At the Atlantic Hub terminal at the south end of the city of Halifax, new investment in mega-vessel handling capability over the past two years has allowed it to handle the largest vessels to call at Canada’s ports to date.
