MSC’s Florida Gulf Feeder service has begun calling at the SSA Jacksonville Container Terminal (JCT), connecting JAXPORT to the major transhipment hubs in the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.
The bi-weekly service’s rotation begins with Freeport in the Bahamas, Rio Haina and Caucedo in the Dominican Republic, Fort Lauderdale in Florida and Jacksonville.
Joyssy Woody, JAXPORT director of ocean carrier development, said: “We are thrilled that MSC, one of the world’s largest ocean carriers, continues to grow its capacity through Jacksonville.
