Unifeeder launches new service between Southern Africa and the Middle East via Maputo
Unifeeder has launched a new service which connects the Port of Maputo, Mozambique, with core ports in the UAE and India with the aim to reduce congestion.
The first two vessels have already been chartered and the long-term schedule has been published, with the first vessel call expected early May 2022.
When shipping via Maputo, customers will get direct connectivity between Maputo to Jebel Ali and Mundra and will significantly reduce the transit times of good from South Africa and its immediate neighbours to the east with fastest transit time of 11 and 15 days respectively.
