Congo Terminal, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, introduced two new rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes worth €3.8m (US$4m), expanding its fleet to 20 RTGs in total.
With a lifting capacity of 40 tonnes, the next-generation equipment will help boost delivery rates and reduce the time required to process goods.
They are also equipped with a real-time GPS that optimises the management of operations to make imported containers available without delay.
