PSA and ONE successfully use reclaimed refrigerant gas from reefers
PSA Corporation and Ocean Network Express (ONE) have jointly announced the successful use of reclaimed refrigerant gas from refrigerated containers, which saves around 4,000 kg of carbon emissions per reefer.
Recycling refrigerant gas from reefers effectively saves the equivalent to the emissions from driving a normal internal combustion engine car for close to a year.
Refrigerant gas, or Hydrofluorocarbons, are potent greenhouse gases which contribute to global warming.
