Timor Port, a subsidiary of Bolloré Ports, has received two tugs, two ship-to-shore (STS) gantries and four rubber-tyred gantries (RTGs) for the Tibar Bay deep sea port concession.
The two new STS cranes will enable to the terminal to unload large container ships with increased handling speed while the four RTGs, each 30 m high, will handle the loading, unloading and stowing of containers at the terminal.
Laurent Palayer, managing director of Timor Port, said: “Commissioning these two tugs, two STS gantries and four RTG gantries will allow us to effectively get our container terminal up and running and support our customers.
