Konecranes launches battery solutions for RTGs, straddle carriers and mobile harbour cranes
Konecranes has launched a range of container handling machines that are battery-driven: a battery rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) crane, a battery straddle carrier and an all-electric mobile harbour crane (MHC).
Citing its effort to increase sustainability and reduce CO2 emissions, the manufacturer launched the products at TOC Europe.
The Konecranes Battery RTG comes in addition to existing cable reel and busbar electric power options.
