APMT Apapa to be connected to Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge rail line
APM Terminals (APMT) Apapa has supported the Nigerian Federal Government’s drive to connect Apapa Port to the Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge rail line.
Linking the port to the rail line will facilitate cargo delivery and help to avoid port congestion.
Klaus Laursen, country manager of APMT Nigeria, said: “APMT Apapa first restored the rail in the port in 2013 leading to the movement of containers from Apapa port to Kano and Kaduna three times a week.
