Container volumes up 11% at Port of Santos
Containerised cargo grew by 11% in July at the Port of Santos, totalling 440,700 teu at Brazil’s largest port, which is gearing up for privatisation.
Across the first seven months of the year, volumes have risen by 2% to 2.8m teu.
In terms of tonnage from all cargo segments, volumes have increased by 7% to 95.5m tonnes in the same period.
