Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Jazan Region in Saudi Arabia, has inaugurated the Port of Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI Port).
The development of JCPDI, which forms part of the country’s Vision 2030 initiative, extends over an area of 114 sq km and includes a port, a refinery, a mineral processing facility, and the stage of the city’s development projects.
Saudi Aramco carried out initial development work, and the city is currently being constructed, operated and managed by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
