Baltic Hub, formerly known as DCT Gdańsk, has kicked off construction of its third deep-water terminal T3 as part of its ambition to develop one of the largest container hubs in Europe.
When fully completed in 2025, the new terminal will have a 717 m long and 17.5 m deep quay wall and it will be able to handle the largest container vessels in the world.
Worth a total investment of €450m (US$470m), it will also provide 36.5 ha of additional operating space.
