Shekou Container Terminals joins berth alignment specialist Portchain’s network

Shekou Container Terminals is to join the Portchain Connect network, aiming to increase the quality and speed of its berth alignment with customers through digital handshakes and secure data sharing.

The solution enables the terminals in Shenzhen to receive real-time schedule and move count updates directly from carrier systems.

This can enable Shekou to respond and counter propose quickly, to align the vessel schedule with the terminal berth plan.
