International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) Mexican subsidiary Contecon Manzanillo (CMSA) has commenced its third phase expansion project which will increase its capacity from 1.4m teu to more than 2m teu in the next five years.
This third expansion phase will enable the Port of Manzanillo to expand its operational capacity and cater to the country’s current and future foreign trade requirements.
CMSA CEO José Antonio Contreras said: “Manzanillo is the most important node of international logistics in the Pacific Coast of Mexico and it will continue to be so.
