Jawaharlal Nehru Port handles record container volumes
Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) handled 5,959,112 teu last year, representing growth of 6%, as volumes hit a record high.
In terms of tonnage, the port handled 81.1m metric tonnes, which equates to a 7% rise.
Shri Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman, JNPA, said: “The year 2022 was phenomenal for JNPA as we achieved the milestone of handling the highest ever traffic in port.
