Port of Dunkerque container traffic up by 14%

The Port of Dunkerque enjoyed its tenth consecutive year of container volume growth in 2022, with throughput up by 15% to 745,000 teu.

Full containers increased by 11% to 456,000 teu, while container volumes have increased by 62% in the past two years.

Overall traffic grew by 1.5% to 49m tonnes, with a strong rise in liquid bulk caused by increased LNG volumes outweighing drops in solid bulk and roll-on roll-off (ro-ro) activity.
