PSA International Pte Ltd (PSA)’s Group container volumes decreased by less than 1%, handling 90.9m teu in 2022, amidst another challenging year.
The Group’s flagship terminal contributed 37m teu to this total, down 0.7% year-on-year, while PSA terminals outside Singapore handles 53.9m (also down 0.7%).
Tan Chong Meng, Group CEO of PSA, said: “The world experienced another challenging year in 2022 and although most countries were emerging from the global pandemic, many continued to suffer from the negative aftershocks which were compounded by the war in Ukraine, higher energy prices, global inflation and supply chain disruptions.
