Jeddah Islamic Port receives three modern STS cranes
Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) has precured three cutting-edge ship-to-shore (STS) cranes for its North Container Terminal at Jeddah Islamic Port.
North Container Terminal is now home to 24 state-of-the-art cranes with the addition of the latest batch of the heavy-duty equipment, thus fulfilling a critical component in the SAR6bn (US$1.6bn) concession agreement between the terminal operator and the national maritime regulator.
The concession agreement aims to upgrade the terminal’s installed capacity to 8.8m teu.
