Despite a 13% year-on-year dip in volumes, South Carolina (SC) Ports has recorded its second highest February throughput in port history at Port Charleston.
February is traditionally a lighter month due to a pause in Asian manufacturing for the Lunar New Year holiday.
In line with this, SC Ports’ February volumes were down in 2023 as it handled 201,418 teu and 111,186 pier containers (containers of any size).
