Hapag-Lloyd has launched a new West Africa (WA1) service designed to establish itself in the Giuniea, Sierra Leone and Liberia markets.
The new fortnightly service, due to sail from May 15, connects Tanger Med, Nouakchott, Freetown, Conakry, Monrovia and back to Tanger Med.
Dheeraj Bhatia, senior managing director for the Middle East, India and Africa region at Hapag-LLoyd, said: “The service’s launch reaffirms Hapag-Lloyd’s strong commitment to expanding its presence in (West) Africa.
