Ravin AI has partnered with Haifa Port to implement its Inspect, Autoscan and Eye tools to visually inspect new vehicles entering the port in order to pinpoint any damage done to vehicles during the transport, offloading and storage process.
As more than 40,000 new vehicles enter Israel’s largest port annually, the technology will continuously verify the physical integrity of the vehicles until they are loaded onto transport vehicles, aiming to minimise risk and reduce the port’s financial exposure.
At present, with damage to new vehicles estimated in the millions of dollars per year, invested parties including, ports, car manufacturers and insurers, are looking for concrete ways to identify damages in real-time.
